The following plants are supplied in 9cm (1/2 litre) pots and are £3.00 each + post & packing. See ‘Post & Packing’ information.

Perennials are known as permanent plants meaning they flower every year and depending on variety at different times of the year. Some are evergreen; they will keep some of their foliage in the winter. Other varieties will die down under the soil completely in winter but re-emerge in spring. All perennials will increase in size and flower for many years.

Symphyotrichums and Eurybia are the new name of Asters

Mostly they prefer full sun and tall varieties may need staking (propping up). As they flower in the autumn and have been growing in full sun a good slosh of water June/July/August is a good idea. Also to help conserve moisture plant with well-rotted manure or compost and/or put a mulch around the base on top of the soil, after planting.
